Are you or your church looking for a mission project?
We welcome church mission groups of any denomination. If you would like to arrange a mission trip and get involved in some of our current projects, please contact us. There are a large variety of projects that people of all ages and talents may get involved in.
Opportunities:
Short Term and Long Term Mission Trips: There are individuals, schools, or churches that may be looking for an opportunity to serve others but don't want to leave the country. Navajoland provides an affordable trip and a great cultural experience. If you want to set up a trip to Navajoland and don't know how, please contact us. We will match your mission, goals, and strengths with needs in the area.
Youth Center Building Project: If you belong to a church, civic, university, or other organizations that is looking for a great project that will change lives, then we have the perfect mission trip for you! Currently we are renovating a house that become a community education and youth center and skater church in one of the toughest neighborhoods on the reservation. This provides a tremondous opportunity to change lives without having to leave the country! Learn more at the "Building Project" page.
Ramp Construction: Many wheelchair dependant elders do not have a ramp, instead having to negotiate steps.
Wood Cutting: More than 80% of Navajo heat their homes with wood or coal. Each winter many disabled and elderly run out of wood. Wood cutters are needed to stock up local ministries with wood.
Hilltop Christian School: Always looking for volunteers to teach, repair buildings, and tutor!
Home Repair: Many homes need a new roof or window. Always a need!
Wilderness Program: Looking for an adventure? Be a youth leader on one of our summer backpacking trips. We are particularly in need of physicians or nurses to go along "just in case"! Check out this year's trip by gong to the "Wilderness Page"

Extreme Home Makeover Rez Style! Seven different churches and volunteer groups built a home for a family of 10 children, two adults, and one grandma! The entire family had been living in a 16' x 20' room. A new, safer roomier home was built. A mission group brought out 5 sets of bunk beds to make the home complete!
